My frame fell off. What went wrong?

Almost always the wall surface or the press. Textured paint, distemper and wallpaper don't give the adhesive anything to hold. If the wall is smooth, clean it with rubbing alcohol and press each strip hard for a full 30 seconds with fresh strips.

Can I reposition it after hanging?

Small nudges in the first minute, yes. After the hour-long cure, remove the strip properly and start again with a new pair rather than prising the frame off.

Will it damage my paint?

Not when you remove it as described — pull the tab slowly, straight down, flat to the wall. Yanking the frame outward is what lifts paint. Give new paint 3 to 6 months to cure fully before you hang anything on it.

Can I use them in a bathroom or kitchen?

A well-ventilated kitchen wall away from the hob is fine. Steam-heavy bathrooms and monsoon-damp exterior walls are not — humidity works into the bond over time.

How do I space a gallery wall?

Leave 5 to 8cm between frames and lay the whole set out on the floor first. Hang the centre piece, then work outward — errors stay symmetrical that way.
